High-quality workmanship thanks to three-layer chipboard and a plastic laminate board coating

Nobilia worktops are characterized above all by their high level of utility. The worktops are made of high-quality three-layer chipboard, which are coated with durable plastic laminates, so-called HPL and CPL surfaces. The side cut edges are also factory-coated with decorative edges. The joint gluing is carried out with waterproof D3 glue (PVAC). In addition, all worktops are supplied with a 9 meter long APL sealing tape for worktop cutouts. Additionally, the sealing tape is placed where the dishwasher is located to insulate the countertop. Nobilia worktops have a standard thickness of 38mm. The standard usable depth is 600mm and can be extended to up to 1170mm, or to 1200mm with an N-edge.

Resistant to heat, moisture and scratches

The surfaces of nobilia worktops are tough. The worktop surface also complies with DIN standard 68930 in terms of scratch and abrasion resistance. This guarantees that the surfaces can withstand normal household wear and tear.

The edges are also water and scratch resistant

On all nobilia worktops, the laminate is coated around the rounded front edge . The side of the worktop can be finished with a decorative edge. The edge design with the decorative edge (D-edge) is done with a 1.5mm thick PP plastic edge band in any worktop decor or the eight Color Concept colors. The 90° outside corners are made in a square shape. A rounded version with an outside radius of 20mm is also available at no extra cost. The inside corners always have a radius of 30mm. The PP edges are glued with waterproof PUR glue.

An N-edge is additionally sealed on the underside

Alternatively, lateral processing can be carried out with an inserted N-edge. The N-edge entails an additional cost because the N-edge is sealed at the transition to the underside.

Slim Line Worktops

Slim Line worktops are elegant and stable

In addition to the 38mm thick worktops, Nobilia also offers Slim Line worktops with a thickness of 16mm. The narrow worktops look particularly elegant and are almost as stable as the standard worktops.
Slim Line worktops are made of high-density fiberboard (HDF) and are coated on both sides with a high-quality laminate . The surface of the Slim Line worktop is HPL and CPL, which have a particularly high level of utility. The decorative edge all around is 1.2mm thick. The nobilia Slim Line worktops can be up to a maximum width of 3400mm. When planning your kitchen, you should also know that the Slim Line worktop is only available in square worktop shapes. Bevels, notches, roundings and cutouts are not possible with the Slim Line worktop.

Xtra worktops

Xtra work surfaces have an exceptional three-dimensional surface structure

Nobilia also offers Xtra worktops, which are available in selected decors. The Xtra worktops impress many kitchen buyers with their particularly distinctive three-dimensional surface structure and their swelling-resistant and impact-resistant surface . The 3D surface of the nobilia Xtra worktops is achieved using a special, strong laminate that is 1.2 mm thick instead of 0.8 mm. This creates an authentic optical replica of natural stone and wood. Otherwise, the Xtra worktops offer all the advantages of conventional nobilia worktops.

Flush installation that convinces

However, the Xtra panels not only have an extraordinary look, but also have the advantage of flush installation of sinks or hobs thanks to the innovative multi-layer structure. Underneath the extra-strong laminate lies a 9.4mm thick innovative functional layer, which significantly increases the water resistance of the panel. This special layer prevents water from penetrating the plate from above. This prevents the worktop from swelling. Suitable cutouts for flush installation can be manufactured in the factory for an additional charge.

Particularly robust thanks to an innovative wear layer

In addition to the fact that the Xtra worktop is more water-resistant than a conventional worktop, the nobilia Xtra worktop is exceptionally robust. This is also ensured by the innovative wear layer. In addition, the worktops are coated with an antibacterial mircoPLUS surface as standard. The nobilia Xtra worktops are available up to a length of 4000mm. The edge design is manufactured as standard in decorative edge (D-edge).

Xtra Ceramic Work Surface

Impact-resistant design edge, scratch-resistant, stable and waterproof

The Xtra Ceramic is an innovative worktop for everyone with high demands on a natural look and quality thanks to a real ceramic layer. The patented Xtra Ceramic plate is manufactured in a composite construction. This means that the 16mm thick worktop is made of 6mm thick ceramic and a 10mm lightweight carrier layer made of recycled glass.

Ideal for high demands in everyday kitchen life

The composite construction of the worktop in conjunction with an impact-resistant design edge ideally meets all the extra requirements of everyday kitchen life. Flush installation of the hob and sink is also possible.
Both the natural and scratch-resistant surface and the water resistance of the worktop make the Xtra Ceramic plate also suitable for use in the bathroom.

Quartz stone countertop

Also quite new to the range are the nobilia quartz stone worktops in three versatile, combinable decors. The quartz stone worktops impress with their natural look and high usability. Quartz stone is waterproof in any case, even without impregnation. The surface of the nobilia quartz stone worktop is particularly hygienic and easy to clean . This makes the panels suitable not only for kitchens, but also for bathroom planning. The quartz stone worktop is available in 12 and 38 mm thickness. In addition, the nobilia quartz stone worktops can also be installed flush, similar to the Xtra worktop.

Nobilia cheek systems are available in approx. 100 decors and in 10 mm, 16 mm, 25 mm and 50 mm widths. The range of types available depends on the material thickness: cheeks, shelves, cover bases, bases and crown bases. The exact cheek height supplied is determined by the body height plus the base height, minus 8 mm for the cheek shoe. The cheek shoe is available in 010 black and 014 stainless steel look.
